About This Project

Cohabitation is the act with which two people decide to live together, sharing rights and duties, without being married.

Italian law regulates the signing of cohabitation contracts, i.e. agreements with which a couple establishes the rules of their relationship, regulates their patrimonial relationships and some limited personal issues (e.g. the appointment of a tutor).

These contracts can be entered into by any emotionally connected couple who decide to live together on a permanent basis.

Moccia Notary’s Office draws up cohabitation contracts, taking account of the specific needs of every couple.
